All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Thursday, August 7, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Emma Jean Stoudt, 65 A service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Coffey-Murray Chapel for Emma Jean Stoudt, 65, Durant, who died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Home. Chaplain Jeff Davis will officiate. She was born Monday, March 14, 1938, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Burrel Wesley and Gearldine Daphne (King) Ward. She married William Stoudt March 9, 1981, in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and enjoyed making ceramics and baby blankets. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Lorie Ann Statler. She is survived by her husband of the home; sons Stanley Williams, Michigan, and George Statler, Durant; daughters Donna Kramer and Pamela Montgomery, both of Florida, Sildrea Huddleston, Poplar Bluff, Verneal Statler, Oklahoma City, Peggy Rice, Durant, and Claire Bridges, Kingston; brothers Wesley, Butch and Carl Ward, all of Poplar Bluff; sisters Patrisha Ward, Brenda Bounds and Sharon Riddle, all of Poplar Bluff; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery will pallbearers Rayfelle Rice, Tommy Bridges, Robert Brown, Lonnie Rutherford, Christopher Hanks, Justin Rice, David Bridges, Loyd Dean Bridges and Roger James. Family Hour is 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
