Stanford dies at Calera Mrs. mary E. Sanford a resident of Bryan County for 51 years died early today at her home on Calera Route 1. She has been in poor health the past two years. Funeral Services will be held Wendesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Oak Grove with Gordon Teel, minister of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery under the direction of Pool Funeral Home. Mrs. Sanford was born in Robinson, Ill., October 31, 1871 and came to this country 51 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviors are one son C.A. Stanford Wasco Cal., four daughters Mrs. G. C. Stone Collinsville Texas, Mrs. Rufe Webb, Wasco Cal, Mrs. Bill Fox of Durant and Mrs. Vernon Petty Route 1 Calera; four brothers John, Will, Tom, and Jim Shipman.
