Don Tarbett will officiate. Mrs. Smith was born March 20, 1910, in Liberty. She was a homemaker and a member okf the Colbert 75A Church of Christ. Maw will be remembered by her family and friends as a lady who loved to visit. She treasured her talks with the children. Her beautiful smile was a natural gem that drew them to her. One of her favorite moments was handing out candy to the little ones at church. She was proud of every chance she had to share her love for the Lord. Her hands were God's instruments of love, whether holding a newborn grandchild or carrying out household chores and working in the garden. One of her greatest joys was getting in her car and driving to church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Blankenship and Dime Smith; an infant son; step-son, Troy Smith; parents; brother, Jack Walton; sisters, Nova Tucker and Ida Ricks; and great-grandsons, Shawn Thompson and Kolton Stubbs. Family hour will be 7-8 p.m. today at Coffey Funeral Home, Durant. Burial will be in Kemp Cemetery. Coffey Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
