Rhea TATE was born in Kenific, Bryan county, OK. and married in Atoka, OK. The Daily Ardmoreite, Ardmore,Ok Page 2A March 20, 2000 FRANCES L. TATE • TISHOMINGO -- Services for Frances L. Tate, 81, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Corbin Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mary Ewing officiating. Interment will follow at Tishomingo Cemetery. Born Jan. 9, 1919, at Kenefic, to Robert L. and Julia Hanes DERRICK RHEA, she died March 17, 2000, at Texas City, Texas. She married Dan V. TATE Sr. Aug. 22, 1940, at Atoka. He preceded her in death June 29, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Florine RHEA. A school teacher, Mrs. Tate taught at Lincoln School at Carmi, Ill., for 13 years. She was a member of United Methodist Church and a life member of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association and AARP. Survivors include two sons, D__ V. TATE Jr., Santa Fe, Texas, and R_____ L. TATE, Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, J____ A__ GELVEZ, Tulsa, and P_____ J. NEWCOMB, Evansville, Ind; three sisters, N_____ HARNET, Houston, L_____ YOUNG Birmingham, Ala, and L_____ RODRIQUEZ, Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Bearers are J. House, W. Coppedge, E. J. Tolbert, P. Roan, R. Lokey and R. Goodin.
