All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Thomas, Ethel Ethel, 81, Midwest City, passed away Sat., Jan. 4, 2003. She was born Oct. 5, 1921 in Bennington, OK to John and Mary (Brokeshoulder) Dosh. Ethel was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Midwest City. She loved crocheting, reading and grandkids. She was a nurse assistant for Internal Medicine and began her career with the United States Indian Service Hospital in Lawton, OK from May 1942 until August 1962. From August 1962 until 1965 she worked at the VA Hospital. In June 1965 she transferred to TAFB Hospital. She attended Southeastern Teaching College and graduated from practical nurse school in 1942. Ethel is survived by daughter Linda Surtees and husband Randy and their children, Cheyenne, John and Jenna; son, Dennis J. Red Elk; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, William J. Thomas; sister, Bertha Graybeal and her brother, Noah Dosh. Services will be 2:00 PM, Wed., Jan. 8, 2003 at Bill Eisenhour S.E. Funeral Home with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
