Family hour will be from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. ========= Durant Daily Democrat 14 Mar 2005 Jewel R. Treadway, 96 A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Highland Cemetery for Jewel R. Treadway, 96, Durant, who died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Rev. Matt Scraper will officiate. The daughter of Sam and Allie (Bolin) Bragg, she was born Monday, Dec. 28, 1908, in Bonham, Texas. She married Homer Treadway Nov. 17, 1927, in Albany. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Durant. She loved going square dancing, traveling, cooking and her Lord. She was very involved with senior programs at the college. Her great love was her family. She was a very giving person. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Harold Dean Treadway, grandson Gary Lynn Treadway and brother Paul Bragg. She is survived by her son Lee Roy Treadway and wife Pat, Garland, Texas; grandchildren Brenda Moses, Hardin, Texas, Ashlee Dawn Treadway, Dallas, Texas, Tiffany Erin Treadway, Dallas, and Brandon Douglas Treadway, Cleburne, Texas; and great-grandchildren Courtney Moses and Davin Moses, both of Hardin. Family hour will be from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
