All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Elvaleen Terrell Elvaleen Terrell, 56, of Amarillo, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. George Haddox of Cliffside Baptist Church and the Rev. Bennie D. Martin, an uncle from Lyndon, Wash., officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Terrell was born in Blue, Okla. She was raised in Hereford and graduated from Hereford High School in 1962. She owned and operated Southwest Carpet in Hereford from 1964 until 1978. She moved to Amarillo in 1979. In 1980, Mrs. Terrell began working for Jack B. Kelley in the accounting offices. She was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church. She married James Terrell in 1981 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a sister, Barbara Heck of Ute Park, N.M.; a stepdaughter, Terri Lantelme of Borger; two stepsons, Michael Terrell of New Castle, Neb., and Daniel Terrell of Panhandle. The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society.
