Andrew Jackson Turner, 85

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille for Andrew 
Jackson Turner, 85, of Hendrix. The Rev. Sam Allenbaugh 
will officiate. Mr. Turner died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, 
in Denison. Bratcher's Funeral Home in Denison is handling 
the arrangements.

He was born Jan. 14, 1913, in Hendrix.Mr. Turner was a 
retired farmer and welder and member of tile Hendrix Baptist 
Church.He married Inez Henry on June 20, 1936, in Bryan 
County.He was preceded in death by son Thomas Turner on Feb. 
23, 1987, and sister Patricia Clark.
