Friday, September 12, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Homer Lee Usry, 76 A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Clayton Avenue Baptist Church, Hugo, for Homer Lee Usry, 76, Hugo, who died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, in Paris, Texas. He was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Bennington, to Homer Woodrow and Mildred (Lloyd) Usry. He lived in Hugo all his life. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in Ward's Ice Cream Plant. He was a member of Clayton Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Alva Ruth Usry, and brothers-in-law William E. Dale and F. A. (John) Walker. Burial will be in Old Church Cemetery, Bennington. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel.
