All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Marion Marie Vaughn Marion Marie "Snookie" Vaughn, 77, of Amarillo, died Monday, July 3, 2000. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Errol Hainer of Refuge Worship Center officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Vaughn was born in Durant, Okla. She moved to Amarillo in 1936 from Durant. She had worked as a civilian printing clerk for the Amarillo Air Force Base, retiring in 1966. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. She married Hudson Shirley Vaughn in 1940 at Amarillo. He died in 1984. Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Darlene Burch and Linda Sharlene Stuart, both of Amarillo; two sons, Hudson Eugene Vaughn of Claude and J.L. Vaughn of Carthage; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174. The body will be available for viewing from noon today until time of service.
