Family hour will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Brown’s Funeral Service is handling arrangements. ============ Durant Daily Democrat Wednesday, December 10, 2003 Jeff Joe Vietta, 25 A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, Durant, for Jeff Joe Vietta, 25, Durant, who died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. The Revs. Darel Bunch and Norma Gooding will officiate. The son of John Richard and Virginia Bell (Walker) Vietta, he was born Nov. 5, 1978, in Denison, Texas. He attended school in Durant, where he was active in sports and assisted the coach in wrestling. He graduated from Durant High School in 1996. He worked for J.V. Transporting Service for many years, and also for Davis Portable Buildings. He enjoyed hunting and being with friends. He was of the Baptist faith and will be missed by many. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with Brady Baskin, Mike Ellexson, Anthony Hoffman, Larry Anoatubby, Rusty Bridges and Warren Buck serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Baskin, Cory Harris, Paul Freeman, Wesley Reynolds, Brandon Dunaway, Torie Lester, Hayden Baker and David Sterling. Family hour is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
