All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Highland Cemetery--Durant Durant Democrat 9 Nov 2004 Pauline Mae Teague Webb, 83 Services for Pauline Mae Teague Webb, 83, Amarillo, Texas, who died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, in Amarillo, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Schooler-Gordon Bell Avenue Chapel. Rev. Clifton Mann will officiate. She was born Feb. 10, 1921, in McAlester to Porter and Lillie Moore. She graduated from Southeastern State College in Durant. She was a teacher for Stratford Grade School in Stratford, Texas, and Avondale Grade School, Amarillo. She retired in 1974. She loved teaching her students and was always excited to see her students grow and learn. She also worked for Sakowitz department store until it closed and then at Kid Stuff Children's Store. She was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother and a lifelong Democrat. She always encouraged family and students to further their education. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Clarence Teague, in 1962; her second husband, James Webb, in 1980; her sister, Irene McQuay; and her brothers, Orville Moore and Bill Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Kay Lamb and husband Elvin, Amarillo; her sister, Lorene Rambo, Bakersfield, Calif.; her granddaughter, Heavenly Lamb; and her grandson, Clarence Lamb. The family requests memorials be made to Amarillo State Center, 901 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas, 79106. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant.
