Jack Zieser of the Rogue River Church of Christ will officiate. Mrs. White, 83, of Rogue River, died Wednesday (July 24, 2002) at the Fairview Transitional Health Center in Grants Pass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Roswell Park Memorial Hospital, Elm and Calton streets, Buffalo, NY 14203. She was born on July 4, 1919, in Cade, Okla. On Aug. 27, 1939, in Bennington, Okla., she married Lewis M. White, who died in 1994. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Livermore, Calif. in 1971. She worked as a hospital nursing assistant. She enjoyed crocheting, canning, television and word search puzzles. She was a member of the Rogue River Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Louise Kohlbacher, Hamburg, NY, and Debra Eden, Enid, Okla.; one brother, Vertic Reynolds, Salem; three sisters, Fannie Riddle and Charline Russell, both of Salem, and Shirley Basquet, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
