Durant Daily Democrat Monday, February 16, 2004 Dennis Wiley, 59 Services are pending with Brown’s Funeral Service for Dennis Wiley, 59, Calera, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, in Calera. =========== Durant Daily Democrat Wednesday, February 18, 2004 Dennis Wylie, 59 A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Achille Cemetery for Dennis Wylie, 59, Calera, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Rev. Brian McClain and Choctaw Assistant Chief Mike Bailey will officiate. Wylie was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Durant to Orval Wylie and Beatrice Long. He attended school in Durant and also attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University for a short time. Wylie worked at Texas Instruments in Dallas and also worked as a manager of Tom’s Lunch. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed watching and reading about all sports. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father in 1993, and an infant sister. Burial will be in Achille Cemetery with pallbearers Joe Marksberry, Bill Blankenship, Clay Cole, Frank Deal, Jerry Presley and Stan Presley. Family hour is 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
