In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Huntington’s Foundation. ============= Friday, October 31, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Buddy Wilkins, 58 A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Coffey-Murray Funeral Chapel for Buddy Wilkins, 58, Durant, who died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003. The Rev. David Boggs will officiate. He was born Monday, July 2, 1945, in Hayward, Calif., to Leon and Frances (Kirby) Wilkins. He was a construction worker and a member of the Methodist church. He loved to play dominoes and canasta. He loved hunting, fishing and attending auctions. He was a great Nascar fan. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Melba Canida. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Clarita, with pallbearers Jim Nelson, Steve Strange, Jeff Warner and Jerry Matthews. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Harkins, Kevin Wood, Terry Canida, Leslie Canida, Vince Hall, Sonny Barnes and Alford Lemons.
