Wilson, 53 Services will be Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Victory Life Church in Durant for Thomas C. Wilson, 53, Bokchito, who died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at his residence. Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. ========= Durant Daily-Democrat 10 Dec 2004 Thomas "Doc" Wilson, 53 Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Victory Life Church, Durant, for Thomas "Doc" Wilson, 53, Bokchito, who died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at his residence. Rev. Sam Lewis and Rev. Charles Howard will officiate. He was born Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1951, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, to Wayne Martin Wilson and Donna Gail Wilson. He married Kathy Mulherin Feb. 24, 1976, Westminister, Calif. He was a truck driver for Laura Seuddars. He was a member of the Protestant faith and the VFW. The military was his passion, as was being a member of the DUSTOFF Association. He served as a medic during the Vietnam War from 1969-71. Doc was a very talented musician, playing guitar in his band "Faultline," playing country and western and rock 'n' roll. He was an avid sports fan, following the Rams football team closely. Watching television was his favorite pastime. He loved to go fishing and play golf. Tom was a man who never met a stranger and had a big heart for everyone, but his family was his greatest love. He will be missed by all the family and friends who knew and loved him. He loved to have fun and be spontaneous. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife of the home; father and wife Judy, Sun City West, Ariz.; brother Terry Wilson and wife Patti, Yorba Linda, Calif.; daughters Kimberly Knearem and husband Jack, Fort Worth, Texas, and Kristina Jones and husband Chad, Sherman, Texas; sister Cathy Ann (Wilson) Bates and husband Tom, Anaheim, Calif.; granddaughters Morgan and Nasya Jones, Sherman, and Lauren Knearem, Fort Worth; step-brothers David Cook and wife Agavni, Lake Forest, Calif., and Bradley Cook, Eagle Rock, Calif.; nieces Meredith Wilson Bates, Anaheim, Calif., Candace, Sara and Jessica Wilson, Yorba Linda, and Samatha Cook, Lake Forest. VFW Honor Guard will perform Military Rites. Burial will be in Iowa.
