R.L. Williams, 64

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary 
Baptist Church in Durant for R. L. Williams, 64, Utica, who 
died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. at Community Hospital in Sherman, 
Texas. The Rev. Jay Perry will officiate.

The son of Robert Lee Williams and LaVada Mae Presley Williams, 
he was born on July 17, 1934, in Utica.

Williams was an equipment operator for Bryan County District 3 
and attended Utica First Baptist Church.

He married Maudell Mitchell on Dec 23, 1955, Durant.

Preceding him in death was his father on Jan.24, 1986, and a son, 
Steven Ray Williams on Sept. 5, 1994.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Durant under the direction 
of Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home.
