All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Gethsemane Cemetery--Caddo OK Durant Democrat 8 Nov 2004 Benjamin Eugene Wingfield, 75 A service for Benjamin Eugene Wingfield, 75, Caddo, who died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at the First Baptist Church in Caddo. Rev. Jim Baker will officiate. He was born Thursday, Jan. 24, 1929, in Smith-Lee to Benjamin Franklin and Dulcie Beatrice (Fite) Wingfield. He married Ida Lee Draper Sept. 5, 1947, in Sherman, Texas. He worked as a rancher and service station operator and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caddo. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edmond and James Wingfield and sister Ada Belle Love. He is survived by his wife, of the home; sons Dennis Wingfield and wife Penny, Calera, Randy Wingfield and wife Paula, Caddo, Mike Wingfield and wife Vangie, Durant, Gary Wingfield and wife Mary, Durant, and Rick Wingfield and wife Pam, Caddo; grandchildren Marc and Kevin Wingfield, Calera, Joe Wingfield, Durant, Josh Wingfield and wife Kenna, Albany, Michael Wingfield and wife Doree, Durant, Christy Wilson and husband Chuck, Cedar Hill, Texas, Andrea Fults and husband Tommy, Armstrong, Brandi Phillips and husband James, Caddo, Ashley Pruitt and husband Mikey, Durant, Heather Hill and husband Brian, Caddo, and Ryan Wingfield and wife Christina, Irvington, N.Y.; great-grandchildren Leslie and Johnathan Wingfield, Calera, Michael and Amree Wingfield, Durant, Emily Wilson, Cedar Hill, Jaci Phillips, Caddo, and Mikenzie Hill, Caddo; brother Marion Wingfield, Cedar Hill; and sisters Alice Clarida, Colbert, Oneta Stinson, Ponca City, and Laura Jo Walla, Wichita Falls, Texas. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Caddo, with grandchildren Marc Wingfield, Kevin Wingfield, Josh Wingfield, Joe Wingfield, Michael Wingfield, Ryan Wingfield, James Phillips, Michael Pruitt, Tommy Fults, Brian Hill and Chuck Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Heather Hill, Christy Wilson, Andrea Fults, Brandi Phillips, Ashley Pruitt, Kenna Wingfield, Doree Wingfield and Christina Wingfield. Family hour will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
