Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- Durant Daily Democrat September 29, 1953 Rites For Mrs. Eula Winnett Wednesday 2:30 Funeral rites will be held at the Colbert Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 for Mrs. Eula Winnett, aged 43, who died Monday at her home four miles southeast of Colbert after a brief illness. Services will be conducted by Rev. Floyd Amos, and burial, under the direction of Holmes Funeral home, will be in the Colbert cemetery. Mrs. Winnett was born in Bryan county August 8, 1910, a daughter of Mr and Mrs L. F. Tomas and was married to F.W. Winnett at Colbert January 31, 1933. She was a member of the Baptist church. The deceased is survived by her husband, two sons, David Winnett, Elk City; and Larry Winnett, Colbert; a daughter, Miss Jeanette Winnett, Colbert: a brother, Wyman Thomas, Cartwright; and six sisters; Mrs. Nora Mattingly, Mrs Sue Coleman, and Mrs Lora Prentice, all of calera. Route 1; Mrs. Jessie Sweeney, Colbert; Mrs. Faye Waybourne, Achille; and Mrs. Larue Henson, Roosevelt, Texas
