Durant Daily Democrat Monday, December 15, 2003 Patrick Reece Weiner, 18 Services are pending with Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home for Patrick Reece Weiner, 18, Durant, who died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas. ========== Durant Daily Democrat Tuesday, December 16, 2003 Patrick R Weiner, 18 A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church for Patrick R Weiner, 18, Durant, who died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas. The Revs. Allen Carson and Herb Bridgewater will officiate. He was born Thursday, April 25, 1985, in Oklahoma City, to Charles 'Chip' and Kathy (Cross) Weiner. He worked at Wal-Mart the past two years as an associate. He was a 2003 graduate of Durant High School. He was very involved while in school as a three-year letterman on the football team, four-year letterman in track, DECA and Literary Club. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed collecting and he loved all sports, especially OU football. He enjoyed being with family and friends. He will be remembered as a true and valued friend. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Howard Weiner; great- grandmother Bobbie Carson, uncle Mark Cross and great-uncle Dwayne Carson. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, with pallbearers Chris Clark, Nick Dees, Levi Arnold, Jonathon Hammond, Matthew Moody, Chris Pickens, Wadell Hearn and Christopher Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be the 2002 Durant Lions football team and the 2003 Durant Lions track team. Family hour is 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
