Officiating was the Rev. Clinton Ferguson, pastor. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Abbott was born 06-Feb-1937 at Lubbock, Texas. He married the former Junetta Pearl Wright 08-Jun-1957 in Anadarko, Ok. She preceded him in death on 06-Oct-1988. He served with the U.S. Army from 1960 until 1963 and was later employed as a welder for Haines Manufacturing Company in Chickasha. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gracemont, OK. Preceding him in death was his wife; one daughter, Amanda Rose A Abbott; his parents; and one brother, Joe Wayne Abbott. Survivors include one son, Jimmy Abbott of Anadarko; one brother, Bob Abbott of Blanchard, McClain county, Ok.; one sister, Mable Allen of Cement, Caddo Co., Ok.; three grandchildren, April, Kristi and Amber Abbott of Anadarko; his late wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Wright of Anadarko and a number of nieces and nephews.
