The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Surnames: Ahtone, Smith, Brown William Cleveland Ahtone, Sr. April 27, 2000 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, 29-Apr-2000 at Ware's Chapel, located west of Anadarko at Hog Creek, for William Cleveland Ahtone, Sr., 82, of Anadarko who died 27-Apr-2000 in Anadarko. Officiating at the services was Rev. Mike Svitak. Burial was in the Ahtone Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Ahtone was born 06-Jan-1918 in Anadarko to James and Nannie (Smith) Ahtone. He married the former Anabel Brown 15-May-1981 in Anadarko. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe and the First Baptist Church. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Ruth Ahtone. Survivors include his wife, three sons, four daughters, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.
