All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 17 Jan 2003 Ahtone, Vincent ANADARKO - Funeral for Vincent Ahtone, 41, Anadarko, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie, with the Rev. Milton Otis and the Rev. Monroe Tsatoke officiating. Wake service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie. Mr. Ahtone died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Anadarko. Burial will be at Cedar Creek Cemetery. He was born Jan. 2, 1962, in Dallas to Vernon Rodgers and Juanita Daugamah Ahtone. He married Kay Luther on Aug. 1, 1981, in Anadarko. He was a member of Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie, and the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Darren M. and Breezy Luther, Anadarko; four daughters: Shannon L Ahtone-Hale and her husband, Daniel, Anadarko; Juanita K. Ahtone, Arrissa M. Ahtone and Alice Iahdo Ahtone, all of the home; three grandchildren; his parents; his adopted mother, Pat Kopepassah; three brothers: Vernon H. "Cy" Ahtone and Victor James "Buddy" Ahtone, both of Anadarko; and Vohn Knowles Ahtone, Carnegie; his foster brother, Paul Daugamah, Carnegie; two sisters: Betty Cummings and Bonita TallBird, both of Grand Prairie, Texas; and other relatives and friends.
