Adams CYRIL - Ruby L. Harrell Adams, 93, of Cyril died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, in Chickasha. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cyril First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Echols officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of the McRay's Cyril Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams was born July 25, 1909, in Mobeetie, Texas, to W.P. and Martha McCauley Harrell. As a young child, Ruby came to Oklahoma where she lived in the Hope community, east of Duncan. She married Rex Adams on Sept. 5, 1929, in Marlow and he preceded her in death. She and her husband farmed until moving to Cyril in 1944. Mrs. Adams was a member of Cyril First Baptist Church for more than 50 years and was actively involved in church work. Earlier in life, she was also a member of the Garden Club. Ruby was a dedicated homemaker. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and John Prince of Cyril; a daughter-in-law, Julia Adams of Norman; a brother, Floyd Harrell of Alpharetta, Ga.; a sister, Bobby Nell Condit of Seminole, Texas; five grandsons, Noel Adams of Grand Prairie, Texas, Naden Adams of Norman, Rand Prince of Philadelphia, Pa., Tim Prince of Tomball, Texas, and Phil Prince of Ardsley, N.Y.; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Elgan, Coleman and R.V.; and one son, J.P.
