The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ===================================================================== Surnames: Beaver, Cullen, Pickard, Scroggins, Horse Violet Pickard Beaver July 11, 1999 Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, 14-Jul-1999 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anadarko for Violet Pickard Beaver, 86, of Anadarko who died 11-Jul-1999 in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. Officiating was Father Mike Wheelahan. A prayer service was held 10- Jul-1999 at the Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Wichita Tribal Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Ms Beaver was born 21-May-1913 in Oklahoma to Ellbanks and Rosa (Pickard) Cullen. She retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 1972 after 30 years of service. She began an orchard after her retirement, giving most of the produce to family and friends. Survivors include two granddaughters, Debbie Scroggins of Anadarko, and Peggy Sue Beaver-Horse of El Reno, Ok.; one grandson, Forney C. Beaver of Tulsa, Ok.; five great-grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
