Beavers 18-Apr-2000 Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, 20-Apr-2000 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Apache for Irven M. Beavers, 87, of Apache who died 18-Apr-2000 in Lawton, Ok. Officiating was Rev. Richard Mayer, pastor. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Apache under the direction of Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Mr. Beavers was born 28-Oct-1912 in Snyder, Kiowa county, Ok. He married the former Mildred Bauer 14-Jan-1942 in Chickasha. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He was a farmer/stockman in the Broxton community. He drove the school bus for both the Broxton and Apache school districts for a total of 24 years. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, one son, three granddaughters, two great granddaughters, two brothers and one sister.
