Burial was under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. On 12-Feb-1956 she and Ron Bassett were married. She and her husband had owned and operated Anadarko Auto Supply in Anadarko for over 40 years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church where she served as choir director and organist. She was a former Anadarko High School business education instructor. She was the daughter of Oklahoma school teachers and had lived in several Oklahoma towns during her youth. She was involved in many community and civic organizations. Survivors include her husband of the home; mother-in-law, Margie Bassett of Chickasha, Ok.; one daughter, Dena, of Anadarko; one son, Phil, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren, all of Anadarko.
