The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ===================================================================== Surnames: Bost, Yancey, Timmers, Eades, Daniels, Hooker, Finley, Bradley, Nault, Matlock, Croney, Blue, Snider Orval Bost April 16, 1996 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, 18-Apr-1996 in the Steverson Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko for Orval Bost, 89, of Chickasha who died 16-Apr-1996 at the Shanoan Springs Nursing Home in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. Burial was in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Pallbearers were Wayne Bost, John Matlock, Edward Croney, Leldon Blue, Audy Wayne Blue and Jay Snider. Bost was born 13-Feb-1907 in Oppelo, Ark. to William Thomas and Lula Yancey Bost. He married the former Floris Timmers in Anadarko in 1932. He came to Caddo county with his family in 1920 and attended school at Spring Creek and Gracemont. Bost had a barber shop at Spring Creek which he operated until he moved to California in the 1940's. He lived in Atwater, Calif., where had a service station and did concrete finishing work until moving back to Oklahoma to make his home in Grady county. He had been a resident of Shanoan Springs Nursing Home for the last 10 years. He was baptized into the Church of Christ at Spring Creek many years ago. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Arthur Bost; and one sister, Mae Eades. Survivors include his children, Bonnie Ann Daniels of Merced, Calif., and Charles 'Bud' Bost of Fresno, Calif.,; three sisters, Velma Hooker of Chickasha, Ok., Gusta Finley of Hydro, Ok., and Alma Bradley of Conway, Ark.; a brother, Otis Bost of Chickasha, Ok.; a half-sister, Nita Gail Nault of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and good friends.
