Boswell died Sunday, 10-Dec-2000. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Keith Morgan, pastor of the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church; the Rev. Monte Moran, former pastor, and the Rev. Jack Eisel, pastor of the Anadarko Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Boswell was born 07-Jan-1967 in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. to Sue (Suber) Boswell Bowen and John Presley Bowen. He married the former Shawnna Holsted 26-Aug-1999 in Eureka Springs, Ark. Boswell was a lifetime resident of Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School with the class of 1985. He began helping his mother with auctions at the age of seven, and he later attended the Oklahoma School of Auctioneering and became a certified auctioneer. He also received his Real Estate Broker's license in 1988. He continued to be active in the auction and real estate business, and had been employed by Braum's in Tuttle, Ok., the Norman Transcript and Texas Electric. At the time of his death he was employed by Helmerich and Payne in the oilfield near Marlow, Ok. He was a member of the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was a grandson, Jordan Boswell. Survivors include his wife of the home; his parents of Anadarko; three daughters, Gina Boswell, Jodi Boswell and Stormi Holsted, all of Anadarko; one brother, Warren Lee of Oklahoma City, Ok.; two aunts, Burl Dean Hardy of Mustang, Ok. and Sharon Shoemake of Chickasha, Ok.; one niece Danielle Lee of Gracemont, Ok.; one nephew, Lane Brown of Fort Cobb, Ok.; his father-in-law, Larry Holsted of Yukon, Ok., and his grandparents-in-law, Mary and George Lovell of Fort Cobb; several cousins, and a great number of good friends.
