Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery with Jim Westbrook, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Batchlear was born in Spring Creek, Okla. He moved to Amarillo in 1943 from Erick, Okla. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a mechanic and member of First Foursquare Church. Survivors include his wife, Pauline; a son, Larry Batchlear of Amarillo; a daughter, Evelyn B. Messer of Amarillo; a brother, Speed Batchlear of Erick; a sister Naomi Renko of Coronado, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
