The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ===================================================================== Surnames: Botello, Vigil, Eyelash, McVey, Carter, Glass, Gist, Scroggins James Michael Botello May 20, 1997 A funeral mass was held Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anadarko for James Michael Botello, 67, of Gracemont who died 20- May-1997 at his home, east of Gracemont. A rosary was said at the Steverson Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home. Botello was born 08-May-1930 in Oklahoma City, Ok. to Lorene (Vigil) and Lot Eyelash. Except for the period of time spent in the military service and a short time in Chickasha, he lived his entire life in Caddo county. He grew up in Anadarko and attended St. Patrick's Mission School. He enlisted in the United States Army in the late 1940's and had been employed since that time in the oil fields until his retirement. He was an avid 'coon hunter'. Preceding him in death was one son and his parents. Survivors include one son, Michael and a daughter, Teresa, plus their children, all of Texas; two sisters, Patricia McVey and Mary Carter, both of Anadarko; a nephew, C.D. Glass of Anadarko; a niece, Vicki Gist of Oklahoma City, Ok.; one aunt, Della Scroggins of Little Rock, Ark.; one uncle, James Botello of Houston, Tx. and several cousins and close friends.
