Bittle died 21-Mar-1998 in Carnegie, Ok. Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery under the direction of Carnegie-Gragg-Smith Funeral Home of Carnegie. Bittle was born 11-Jan-1905 in a dugout four miles north of Carnegie to John and Katherine Bittle. He married 11-Jan-1947 Bessie Werts in Carnegie. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Carnegie and a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge in Alfalfa, Ok., and served as vice grand in 1962 and noble grand in 1963 and 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, two sons, one daughter, and six grandchildren.
