Bilyeu October 26, 1997 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday 30-Oct-1997 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko for Loyd J.D. Bilyeu, 75, of Anadarko who died 26-Oct-1997 at the University Hospital in Oklahoma City, Ok. Officiating at the services was the Rev. Ray Weathers. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Pallbearers were Brett Sowder, Adam Sowder, Chad Luce, Gary Luce, Westley Haskins, Clint Haskins and John Bilyeu. Honorary pallbearers were Loyd Sowder and Daniel Luce. Bilyeu was born 09-Mar-1922 in Holiday, Texas to John William Bilyeu and Rebecca Iona Wade. Bilyeu was a loving father, husband and grandfather who will always be loved and remembered in his families' lives. Preceding him in death was a daughter, Marsha Lee and a son, Richard Earl Bilyeu. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorena and Jim Sowder of Blacksburg, Va., and Joyce and Tim Haskins of Oneonta, Ala.; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby L. and Leah Bilyeu of Anadarko, Ok.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Gene Bilyeu of Anadarko, Ok.; and a sister, Artie Landers of Muleshoe, Tx.
