Bailey June 17, 1997 APACHE--Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, 19-Jun-1997 in the First Baptist Church in Apache, Caddo county, Ok. for Hazel R. Bailey, 91, of Apache. Mrs. Bailey died 17-Jun-1997 in Oklahoma City, Ok. Officiating at the service was the Rev. A.L. Swagerty, director of missions for the Caddo County Baptist Association. Burial was in Apache's Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Mrs. Bailey was born 03-Sep-1905 in Fairbury, Nebraska. She married Herbert L. Bailey 07-Oct-1922 in Anadarko, Ok. She moved to Apache with her parents at the age of 6. She was employed as a cook in the Apache School System for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Apache. Preceding her in death was her husband on 24-Jun-1954; one daughter, Leatrice Joy Williams; and one grandson, Rick Bailey. Survivors include five sons, Lawrence Bailey of Kingston, Marshall county, Ok., Walter Bailey and Dick Bailey of Apache, Dan Bailey of Hobart, Kiowa county, Ok., Stanley Bailey of Cyril, Ok.; two daughters, Pat Huber and June Myers, both of Oklahoma City, Ok.; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one brother, Dale Love of Florida; and three sisters, Flossie Sharp of Elgin, Comanche county, Ok., Colleen Hayes and Edith Baxter, both of Fletcher, Comanche county, Ok.
