Black, Pete Pete Black, formerly Midwest City, passed away Monday, March 3, 2003 at his home at Seminole. He was born December 4, 1912 in Cement to John and Ida Mae (Hawkins) Black. On May 23, 1936, Pete and Molly Lucille Jackson were married in Konawa. They moved to Midwest City in 1946 and in 1967 purchased and operated the M & M Wrecker Service until his retirement in 1982. Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, he moved to Seminole County where he has enjoyed a working retirement and raising cattle. 3 brothers and 2 sisters also, preceded him in death. Surviving family include his son, Ralph and his wife, Debbie, of Seminole; 3 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Stufflebean Chapel, officiated by Doug Arnold. Interment will be at the Whitebead Cemetery.
