Beeler November 01, 1989 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church for John A. Beeler, 83, of Anadarko, who died 01-Nov-1989 at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, Ok. Officiating at the service was the Rev. Aaron Hacker of Oklahoma City, Ok., assisted by the Rev. Keith Russell, pastor. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Beeler was born 01-Jan-1906 in Coalgate, Coal county, Ok. He married the former Velora Truex 15-Aug-1929 in Oklahoma City, Ok. He was employed as a school bus manager in Anadarko for 19 years and farmed until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko and the IOOF Lodge No. 184 in Anadarko. Preceding him in death were his parents and one granddaughter. Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Bobby Beeler and Johnnie Beeler, both of Anadarko; two sisters, Elsie Witten of Anadarko and Goldie Compton of Denver, Colo.; three granddaughters, one grandson, one great grandson and a number of nephews and nieces.
