Gerald Peters, pastor, officiating. Bond died Sept. 12 in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1907 in Texas and married the former Dorothy Neil Jan. 12, 1930 in Arapaho. Bond was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carnegie and the Carnegie Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Eldon of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Joyce Dodd of Lawton, Darlene Law of Yukon, and Melba Jean Barber and Debbie Coulder, both of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Wade of Carnegie and Waymond of Cortez, Colo.; four sisters, Winnie Anderson of Oklahoma City, Elaine Smith and Connie Helm, both of Sun Valley, Calif., and Armetta Knowles of North Hollywood, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under direction of the Pitcher Funeral Home of Carnegie.
