She died 28-Dec-1990 at the Anadarko Municipal Hospital. Officiating at the service was the Rev. David Lowry, pastor. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Beardsley was born 06-Apr-1900 in Kirksville, Mo. She came to the Anadarko area from Missouri in 1907 and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1919. She taught in rural schools in the Anadarko and Gracemont areas. She moved to Gracemont in 1927 where she served as postmaster for the next nine years. She was employed at the First National Bank in Gracemont from 1937 until her retirement in 1963. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gracemont. Survivors include one brother, Levi Beardsley of Gracemont; one niece, Stella Causland of LaHabra, Calif.; one great niece, Michel Adams of Brea, Calif.; and one cousin, Edith Goffard of Pasco, Wash.
