A prayer service was held 26-Jan-2000 in the Smith Funeral Chapel in Anadarko. Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery at Fort Cobb, Caddo Co, Ok. under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel. Berry was born 14-Jun-1920 west of Fort Cobb to Tennyson and Ann (Jones) Berry. He married Leona Hovakah Wolf. He graduated from Fort Cobb High School and Cameron College in Lawton, Comanche co., Ok. in 1942. He also attended Southwestern College in Whitfield, Kans. He was a member of the First Apache American Baptist Church, west of Fort Cobb. He was also a member of the Apache Blackfeet Society where he served as trustee. He was a member of the O-Ho-Mah Lodge. He was employed by the Pawnee Agency from 1948 thru 1954, KCA tribes and civil service at Fort Sill, Comanche co., Ok. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, Timothy and Titus Berry; three sisters, Cynthia (Berry) Goombi, Jeanette (Berry) Mopope and Myrtle (Berry) Perdasophy. Survivors include two sons, two daughters, and seven grandchildren.
