All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 14 Mar 2003 Theodore "Ted" Brave Scout ANADARKO — Funeral for Theodore "Ted" Brave Scout, 71, Anadarko, will be at noon today at Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center, Red Rock. Mr. Brave Scout died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, in Anadarko. Burial will be at Otoe-Missouria Cemetery, Red Rock, under direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee. He was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Pawnee, to Sidney Moore Sr. and Pearl Peters Moore. He was an enrolled member of the Otoe Tribe, gaming commissioner for the Otoe Tribe and director of the Otoe-Missouria American Indian Expo until 1998. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, and is a member of the Pawnee Indian Veterans. Survivors include four children: Randy Moore, Geronimo; Ted Moore Jr., Fairfax; Sydna Yellowfish, Oklahoma City; and Tracey Moore, Pawhuska; six brothers and sisters: Wilma Williams and Darrell Moore, both of Pawnee; Sylvestine Shields, Shawnee; Marie Fields, Tulsa; Sidney Moore Jr., El Reno; and Laverne Horsechief, Midwest City; and many relatives and friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Caddo County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/caddo/caddo.html
