Officiating was the Rev. R.E. Zell with the Rev. Jerry Tate, assisting. Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Carnegie-Gragg-Smith Funeral Home of Carnegie. Pallbearers were Tommy Oliphant, Billy Oliphant, Jason Brewster, Finis Oliphant Jr., Richard Lee Riley and Gary Baker. Honorary pallbearers were Herman Snoddy, Lee Partridge and LeRoy Mandrell. Brewster was born 01-Mar-1931 in Carnegie to Charles Edward and Maudie Lodenia (Miller) Brewster. He married the former Barbara Ann Hitch 18-Dec-1952 in Oklahoma City, Ok. He was a lifelong resident of Carnegie where he attended school until enlisting in the United States Army and then the United States Navy. He had been a truck driver most of his life. He loved to hunt, fish and raise game chickens. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Harlen Brewster; four sisters, Ruby Cassidy, Alice Rhoades, Shirley Little and Etta Lenora Brewster, who died as an infant. Survivors include his wife of the home; four sons and daughters-in-laws, Gary and Jennifer Brewster of Oney, Ok., Rick and Lynda Brewster, Brian and Ramona Brewster and Kevin and Bonnie Brewster, all of Carnegie; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and David Bowlin; 12 grandchildren, Misti and Brian Raines, Becky Brewster, Shana Brewster, Richard Lee and Heather Riley, Jason Brewster, Russel Gastineau, Todd Gastineau, Darcy Brewster, Devin Brewster, Tanae Bowlin, Eric Bowlin and Brian Bowlin; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Edward Brewster of Portland, Ore., and Harold Lee Brewster of Oklahoma City, Ok.; and eight sisters, Anna Mae McKinney of Carnegie, Iva Reid of Portland, Florence Mills of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Joyce Gatlin of Dumas, Tx., Maxine Bennett of Wynnewood, Ok., Charlene Wisenhunt of Oklahoma City, Ok., Faye Ratliff of Carnegie and Linda Taylor of Oklahoma City, Ok.
