Brown November 14, 1988 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Steverson Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko, Caddo county, Ok. for Jack R. Brown, 76, of Anadarko. Brown died 14-Nov-1988 at his home. Officiating was the Rev. Gary Vitosky, pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home. Brown was born 22-Jun-1912 at Walters, Cotten county, Ok. He married the former Juanita Webb 17-Jan-1948 in Oklahoma City, Ok. He was a retired barber who moved to Anadarko from Moore, Cleveland county, Ok. in September of 1980. He served with the United States Army during World War II and was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of the home; two brothers, Delmer Brown of Gracemont, Ok., and L.G. Brown of Hydro, Ok.; one sister, Ruth Mogg of Hydro, Ok.; one aunt, Ethel Rhodes of Lawton, Ok. and a number of nieces and nephews.
