Officiating was the Rev. Raymond McPherson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cement. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Pallbearers were Frank Roulain, Dennis Roulain, Lloyd Nestell, Bill Watson, Sears Koch III and Nathan Tselee. Honorary pallbearers were Bruce Ross, Wayne Altis and Richard Botello. Brandon was born 23-Oct-1908 near Chickasha to Texanna (Reeves) and Curry Kelly Johnson. She grew up in the rural Chickasha area and went to Friend School. During World War II she worked at Douglass Air Craft in Oklahoma City, Ok. She moved to Anadarko in 1948 where she owned and operated several bars until she retired in 1980. Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Hiram, Ferrell and Calvin Johnson; and one sister, Opal Johnson. Survivors include four children-- Colleen Keeton of Miami, Ok. and her children, Paula Botello and her husband Rudy, of Miami, Ok., and Sherry Giyer and her husband David of Noosho, Mo.; Valerie Marshall and her husband Jim of Moore, Ok. and her children, Kelly Peoples and her husband Shawn, of Oklahoma City, Ok. and Christopher Marshall of Moore, Ok.; Kenneth Pierce and his wife Hazel of Plano, Tx. and their children, Kena Pierce of Austin, Tx. and Brandon Pierce of Plano; Curry Pierce and his wife Tony and their children, Anthony Pierce, Ashley Pierce and Jim Roulain, all of Anadarko; five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and precious friends.
