F.W. Burnett

F.W. Burnett, 63, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Llano East Cemetery with 
the Rev. Steven Lindsey of the Church of God Prophecy of Amarillo 
officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 
Martin Road.

Mr. Burnett was born in Gracemont, Okla., and moved to Amarillo 35 years 
ago. He served for 10 years in the Navy including in the Korean War. He 
retired as an auto mechanic.

Survivors include a son, Wess Burnett of Tulsa; two sisters, Lola Saxton 
of Oregon and Aline Vantine of Oklahoma; four brothers, Glenn Burnett, 
Harlen Burnett, Vernice Burnett and Leon Burnett, all of Oklahoma; and 
five grandchildren.
