Officiating was Rev. Bill Stoneroad. A prayer service was held 26-Apr-2000 at the Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home Chapel of Anadarko. Mrs. Brownen was born 30-Dec-1912 to Jody A. and Willa (Wealer) Gatlin. She married Samuel L. Brownen 19-Oct-1927 in Chickasha. She was a lifetime resident of Caddo County. Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, one son, LeRoy; one sister, Kathrine Amaya and two brothers, Richard and Jack Gatlin. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and two brothers.
