Brewer died Thursday 02-Sep-1993 in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. Officiating at the service was the Rev. Bob Settle, pastor. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Binyon-Cyril Funeral Home. Brewer was born 20-Apr-1903 in Bluffton, Arkansas to Sam and Maud (Wood) Brewer. He married the former Bessie McKinley 22-Jun-1936 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They resided in Cement a number of years before moving north of Cement in 1955. He was employed as a carpenter in the Cement area until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Cement Assembly of God Church more than 57 years and was a 50 year member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Cement. Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Odessa and Eugene Anthony of Anadarko; one grandson and his wife, Darrell and Debbie Anthony of Mustang, Ok.; one granddaughter and her husband, Brenda and Bryan Coker of Anadarko; three great grandchildren, Dawn Anthony of Mustang, Ok., Jason and Jennifer Coker of Anadarko; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
