Brower August 06, 1991 Closed casket services were held at 10:30 a.m. 09-Aug-1991 at the First Baptist Church in Gracemont, Caddo county, Ok. for Roberta J. Brower, 62, of Gracemont. Mrs. Brower died 06-Aug-1991 at the Anadarko Municipal Hospital. Officiating at the service were the Rev. Keith Henley, pastor and the Rev. Monte Veal, former pastor of Bartlesville, Ok., assisting. Burial was in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko with Wayne Cochran, associate funeral director, in charge. Mrs. Brower was born 16-Aug-1928 in Gracemont to Audrey and Edna Hancock. She married Lynn Brower 21-Aug-1947 in Dumas, Texas. She was employed for several years by the Nineteeth Seed Company in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. She was a member of the Gracemont First Baptist Church and the Gracemont Extension Homemakers Group as well as the Eastern Star Chapter in Surrey, Texas. She was past president of the Delphian Club in Anadarko. Survivors include her husband of the home; one daughter and son-in- law, Vicky and Robert Gudgel of Gracemont; her parents of Gracemont; one brother, Tommy Hancock of Gracemont; two grandchildren, Michelle and Luke Gudgel, both of Gracemont; four aunts and two uncles.
