All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Cherokee Memorial Park--Lodi CA Conn, Juanita Elnora "Dodie" Stockton, CA Jan. 20, 1934 - February 28, 2007 Juanita Elnora "Dodie" Conn, of Stockton, CA, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 in Manteca, CA. She was born Juanita Elnora McGuire in Anadarko, Oklahoma on January 20, 1934, and family moved to Stockton in 1946. On September 13, 1952 she was married to Dewey Conn, and they resided in Oregon and Redding, CA for a brief time, before returning to Stockton. She was employed as a checker for 22 years in Lodi at Lodi Super Market #1, Westgate Super Market, and Raley's Market before she retired in 1994. She was a past member of the Forest Lake Golf Course Women's Business and Professional Golf Group, the Monday Night Women's Bowling League at Tokay Bowl in Lodi, and in the past was the Official Scorekeeper for Western Little League in Stockton. Among her many enjoyment's was her trips to Lake Tahoe and Reno, camping, fishing, playing cards, and telling jokes. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Randy Conn; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Dewey Conn of Stockton; beloved children and their spouses, LaQueta Audette of Columbia Falls, MT, Roger Conn (Pam) of Stockton, Brenda Conn of Stockton, Sandra Pruitt (Allen) of Portola and Donna Villagomez (Sam) of Stockton; sisters, Jo Helen Eres of Elk Grove, Margaret Ryans of Chickasha, OK, Betty Jo Kendall of Lodi and Ethlene Jones of Lodi; also 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildre; numerous nieces, nephews and longtime family friends, John and Betty Slaughterback of Galt. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi, with committal following. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Road, Lodi.
