The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Duffel, Crow, Tackett, Smith, Barber, Nichols, Berna, Page FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS.ZORA CROW Funeral Services for Mrs. Zora (Duffel) Crow 88, of the Oney Community, (Fort Cobb route 1) were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, at the Oney Christian Church. Mrs. Crow passed away at her home Wednesday, July 16, she had been in ill health the past several years. She was born at Salem, Arkansas, April 29, 1887, to her parents James Robert Duffel and Lucy Ann (Smith) Duffel. She married Otis Crow December 27, 1907 at Terrell, Oklahoma. They moved to the Oney Community in 1908 and she had lived here since. She was a member of the Owney Christian Church. Her husband died in 1938. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include one son, Herman Crow of the Oney Community; two daughters, Mrs. L.B. (Regina) Burna of Anadarko, and Mrs. Emmett (Modena) Tackett of the Oney Community; three grandchildren, Glenda Berna Page of Tulsa, Jerry Tackett of the Oney Community and Larry Burna, Lemens, California; six great grandchildren and twin sisters, Mrs. Lula Barber and Mrs. Beaulah Nichols, both of Terral, Oklahoma. Mr. Harold Mosley officiated at the service. Pall bearers were Earl Long, Dick Hodges, Pete Reiss, Delvie Adams, Elmer Peck, Boyd Spencer, all of the Oney Community and Don Trull of Oklahoma City. Interment was in the Albert Cemetary under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home.
