The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Crow, Berna, Duffell Charles Otis Crow, son of William and Sarah Crow, was born in Denton County, Texas, June 6, 1881, and passed away April 8, 1938, at Anadarko. Charles came with his older brother at the age of nine years to Indian Territory and has lived in Oklahoma the past 48 years. He was married to Zora Duffell December 19, 1908, and to this union three children were born, all of whom survive. The survivors are his widow, Mrs. Zora Crow, two daughters, Mrs. L.H. Berna, of Fort Cobb, and Modena Crow, Oney, one son R.H. Crow, one brother John Crow, Terrall, Oklahoma, and many neices and nephews. His father and mother, two sisters, and one brother preceded him in death. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, the I.O.O.F. lodge, served as board member of the Oney school board for many years. He moved to the Oney community in 1908 and has lived on his farm two miles south of Oney the past 20 years. Pallbearers were: Charles Henry, D.N. Hamilton, Dock Stewart, Weldon Trull, Jake Gramlich and Billie Bryan, flower girls were: Betty Smith, Inez Trull, Juanita Nelson, Zelpha Lane, Aryilla Griffan, Josephine Riddle, Nora Crowell, Lamoyne Jackson. The music was rendered by Goldie Elliott, D.M. Hamilton, Clint Applewhite, Mrs. Emory Campton and Mrs. Monroe Elliott. Services were held at the Christian Church at Oney with interment in the Oney Cemetary.
